One elephant taking part in holy festivities at the Bhagavathi Temple in the south Indian state of Kerala, lost his nerve and turned against the occasion, going on a wild rampage and throwing motorcycles in the air like rag dolls and crushing auto rickshaws like sand castles - all while a hapless rider clung for dear life on the elephant's back.
