The NatWest Schools Cup is hotting up and in the last weekend of February the under-18 semi-finals in the main competition, and also the Vase, will take place at Allianz Park, the home of Premiership champions Saracens. <br /> <br />U-18 Cup finalists in 2013 Northampton School for Boys will face Bloxham – who have reached the last four for the first time in the national knockout competition since its inception in 1991 – in the Vase. The other semi-final will see St Ambrose College face Pangbourne College. <br /> <br />Northampton School for Boys, alma mater of England forwards Courtney Lawes and Steve Thompson, booked their semi-final place after defeating St George’s, Weybridge, 27-17. <br /> <br />In the other Vase semi-final, St Ambrose College – who beat Cooper’s Coborn 20-0 – tackle Pangbourne College, 29-7 quarter-final victors over Downside. James Costin-Pratt, Pangbourne's scrum-half, scored a hat-trick of tries, with Louis Ingrams also crossing in the win. <br /> <br />David Metcalfe, Head of Rugby at Pangbourne, said: "Reaching the semi-finals is a tremendous achievement for the entire squad. <br /> <br />"The boys have worked extremely hard this season and should be proud. We know the game against St Ambrose College will be a tough challenge and we will prepare carefully for it.” <br /> <br />The finals of the U-18 and U-15 Cup and Vase competitions take place at Twickenham Stadium on Wednesday, March 16.
