A buffalo was shot dead by police in China on Tuesday after it ran along a busy road, causing havoc and knocking over a motorcyclist. <br /><br />This rather tragic video, filmed in Jinghong, Yunnan Province, shows the large-horned animal casually walking and running around a main road. <br /><br />According to local reports, the buffalo belonged to a villager named Mr Yan. It found itself on the road after freeing itself from a rope lead. <br /><br />Police reportedly got permission from the owner before killing the animal.
