Yahoo C.E.O. Marissa Mayer is not going down without a fight.<br />Despite calls from activist investors for her ouster and a looming proxy fight, Mayer told Charlie Rose in an interview Wednesday on PBS that she "would love to be running Yahoo" a year from now.<br />For months, Yahoo has been under pressure from activist investors demanding that the company spin off its core Internet business and jettison Mayer.<br />Mayer has since shifted strategy internally, cutting costs and planning to lay off 15 percent of Yahoo’s 11,000 staff members.
