Awesome footage has emerged from Russia of a large brown bear hunting rodents by digging up their underground nests. <br /><br />The video, filmed in East Siberia, Republic of Buryatia last year, shows the bear digging up the burrow in an attempt to get some food. <br /><br />The filmer later wrote online: "Despite their enormous size, brown bears are extremely fast and skilful hunters.<br /><br />"They will eat almost anything: berries, grasses, sedges, fishes, roots of many kinds of plants, rodents, foxes, and other small animals."<br /><br />"Brown bears dig mice, ground squirrels and marmots out of their burrows," he continued.
