Anti-diabetic drug Ayush-82 to be commercialize by Kudos Laboratories. <br />On 16th March 2016, The National Research Development Corporation (NRDC) signed a License Agreement with Kudos Laboratories, India for commercialization of Ayush-82. Ayush-82 is an Ayurvedic formulation for prevention and management of diabetes. <br />After this agreement Kudos Laboratories can commercialize the drug under their trade name. <br />Kudos Laboratories is a 100 years old organization. It is engaged in marketing, manufacturing and exports of theAyurvedic / Herbal products. <br /> <br /> <br />Anti dumping duty on plastic injection molding machine. <br />Union Government on 15 March 2016 imposed anti-dumping duty of up to 44.7 percent on import of plastic-processing machines for five years. It will be implemented on the imports from Chinese Taipei, Malaysia, the Philippines and Vietnam. <br />The duty will be levied on all kinds of plastic-processing or injection-moulding machines, also known as injection presses. Plastic-processing or injection-moulding machines are used for processing or moulding plastic materials. <br />According to Central Board of Excise and Customs, the duty was imposed after it was noticed that these imports from other countries led to deterioration of performance of the domestic industry. <br /> <br /> <br />Career guidance and counselling centres in Delhi for women. <br />On 14th march 2016 Career Guidance and Counselling Centres were launched in Delhi-NCR. The centres were set-up to provide dedicated career services to young women seeking employment in the region. <br />The career counselling centres are set up as part of a collaboration between United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), the IKEA Foundation, Xyntéo, and the India Development Foundation. <br />The aim of these centres is to impact the lives of women in India through training, entrepreneurial skill development and employment. <br />The Counselling Centres, which is first of its kind for women, is built on the findings of a United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) commissioned study. The study had disclosed that almost 80 percent of young women in Delhi did not have access to accurate and timely information on educational and job opportunities. <br /> <br /> <br />Edugild accelerator started at MIT, Pune. <br />Pune-based Maharashtra Institute of Technology (MIT) in the second week of March 2016 set up India's first education technology accelerator called Edugild. The accelerator will be the first one in the country to focus only on the education sector. <br />The programme, in its first year, received applications from 300 entrepreneurs focused on the education sector from all over the country. Of these, four companies were selected by Edugild for its accelerator programme. They were awarded for their work that clubs social concern and compassion with pioneering reportage and analytical skills. <br />The annual Chameli Devi Award of The Media Foundation is the premier award for women media persons in India. <br /> <br /> <br />MOU signed for Responsible and Sustainable Tourism in India. <br />Union Tourism Ministry on 15 March 2016 signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Ecotourism Society of India (ESOI) for promoting responsible and sustainable tourism. <br />About ESOI <br />It is a non-profit organization to promote environmentally responsible and sustainable practices in the tourism industry across the country.
