New Delhi, Mar 17 (ANI): A-SET Training and Research Institutes, which has been working on brain sensing for the last five years, has developed India's first mind controlled robot for patients suffering from Locked in Syndrome.Locked in Syndrome is a condition in which a patient loses control over his or her muscles and not able to move any part of their body.Hence, to empower them and give some control of their life back, Diwakar Vaish, Head of Robotics and Research of A-SET Training and Research Institutes, who has been working on brain control technologies for the past four years, has invented this special wheelchair.As far as safety is concerned, the speed of the wheel chair goes up according to the comfort level of the mind starts to feel with it, and there is no risk of any mishap since the server alerts the person sitting on the wheelchair beforehand.In the case of an emergency, one just has to blink their eyes.As India is moving forward in the domain of robotics, this will be a big milestone in this field and a big boost to Prime Minister Modi's Make In India campaign.
