<p>The Denver metro area started digging out from a blizzard on Thursday, March 24, though some problems lingered. Wednesday’s storm caused roads, including a portion of I-70 east of Denver, to close. Abandoned vehicles littered the roads, according to local reports</a>. Denver International Airport also shut down during the storm.</p><p>Denver itself received 19 inches of snow, according to reports, and Aurora and Boulder had at least 25 inches of snow from the blizzard.</p><br /><p>At the storm’s peak, more than 300,000 customers were without power.
