Not since the cold war have we seen U.S. troops posted along NATO's eastern borders.<br />Tensions are on the rise between Russia and thewest, which signaled a bold move made by the Pentagon that serves to stunt Russian aggression in the near future.<br />America's top U.S. commander in Europe, General Philip Breedlove, maintains thatNATO allies and partners will see "more capability" from the countries' military in the region, with a bevy of advanced equipment tocome next year.<br />Thousands of soldiers, heavy vehicles and tanks will be stationed along NATO's eastern flank across six countries beginning in February 2017.<br />New gear will include Bradley Fighting Vehicles, Paladin self-propelled howitzers and more than 1,700 additional wheeled vehicles.
