Birgunj (Nepal), Apr 01 (ANI): Goods-laden trucks from India are entering Nepal via the Raxaul-Birgunj border. The blockade by Madhesi agitators is over, but people in Birgunj and other areas in Terai region are still deprived of essential goods and commodities. They complain of rampant black-marketing. Fuel, food items and other essential commodities in Nepal are being supplied by India. About 70 percent of imports flow through the Birgunj-Raxaul check point. However, the markets in Madhesi-dominated areas are not getting their proper share of supply. Due to the Madhesi agitation, the industrial sector in Nepal has incurred a loss of 200 billion Nepalese rupees. More than 50 people have been killed as a result of the protest.
