Hundreds of migrants and refugees broke out of a holding centre on the Greek island of Chios on Friday following a night of violence there.<br /><br /> Tensions are boiling over as the prospect of deportation to Turkey nears under the EU deal with Ankara. And desperation is growing.<br /><br /> “Deportation is a big mistake because we risked a lot to come here, especially during our crossing from Turkey to Greece,” said Mohamed from Syria.<br /><br /> “We were smuggled here from Turkey.
