A stage is being constructed for The World Culture Festival of the Art of Living Foundation on the banks of the Yamuna. Local farmers are protesting against the construction which will have an impact on their crops and farmland. A lot of farmland area has been taken in to create a road that would lead to the stage and farmers are losing their crops. The construction process involves levelling out land which will impact the porousness of the soil.
