North Carolina Governor Pat McCrory wasn’t worried about results of signing a controversial new “anti-discrimination” law last month.<br />Turns out, he should have been.<br />A handful of companies have said in recent days they would either pull, reconsider or avoid projects in North Carolina.<br />This includes PayPal, Google Ventures, Braeburn Pharmaceuticals, and Red Ventures.<br />Many of the state’s biggest employers have signed a letter of opposition as well.<br />A similar movement helped overturn a comparable bill in Georgia but so far in North Carolina, lawmakers have shown no signs of backing down.
