The wait is almost over for fans all over the world of the hit HBO series 'Game of Thrones' as the sixth season was premiered at the TCL Chinese Theatre in Los Angeles on Sunday (April 10). <br /> <br />Many of the key players including Emilia Clarke (Daenerys Targaryen), Alfie Allen (Theon Greyjoy), Nikolaj Coster-Waldau (Jaimie Lannister) and Peter Dinklage (Tyrion Lannister) walked the gray carpet but one actor was noticeably absent. <br /> <br />Kit Harrington, who plays the heroic Jon Snow in the series was a no-show with cast saying he is in London doing a play. Harrington's character appeared to die at the end of season five after an assassination attempt.
