Amazon's Alexa can now add events to Google Calendar

2016-04-24 2 Dailymotion

This should be useful: after an update yesterday, Amazon's Alexa can now be used to add events to Google Calendar by voice.<br />You can either prompt Alexa by saying, "Add an event to my calendar," or you can be a bit more natural and specific, saying something like, "Add family brunch to my calendar for Sunday at 10AM."<br />The e-commerce company announced it on Friday in its latest update for the software.<br />The digital assistant already managed to master some of the Google’s functions, but they were just superficial ones such as reading out loud the events, but never change or edit a thing.<br />The update may be the first one of many from Amazon to increase its presence on Google’s territory.
