Rajouri (Jammu and Kashmir), Apr 25 (ANI): The arterial Mughal Road, which remained closed throughout winters due to heavy snowfall in Jammu and Kashmir, reopened for one way traffic. The road was closed for over three months and was to reopen in March but due to snowfall and heavy rainfall, it remained shut. The Mughal Road that connects Rajouri and Poonch districts with the rest of Jammu and Kashmir is a lifeline for the villages located on the border of the province as it connects them to the prominent cities of the state, which are the hub of economic activities. The road is named after Mughal emperor Akbar.
