Shocking footage has emerged from Peru of people trying desperately to stop a pit bull from attacking another dog on the street. <br /><br />The video, filmed in Chimbote last week, shows the dog biting the other, smaller animal while passersby hit it with sticks to try and stop the ferocious attack. <br /><br />Later in the video, a police office appears to use a taser on the pit bull while another man kicks it, but both attempts initially fail as its jaws are locked firmly on the other dog. <br /><br />Eventually, the two dogs are separated and the pit bull runs away.
