Former Cleveland Browns quarterback Johnny Manziel is expected to be indicted Tuesday on allegations that he attacked his ex-girlfriend in January.<br />Manziel’s attorney Robert Hinson said prosecutors are set to make a formal announcement on Tuesday.<br />Colleen Crowley accused Manziel, the 2012 Heisman Trophy winner, of assaulting her in late January.<br />The grand jury was enlisted to hear the case against Manziel at the request of Dallas police.<br />Usually, grand juries in Dallas County only hear felony cases.<br />There have been no discussions about reaching a deal to end the case before trial.<br />Manziel was released in March after playing parts of two seasons for the Browns.
