Nepal, Apr 26 (ANI): Industrial activity has picked up in Nepal as situation returns to normal. Several industrial units were forced to close down in the wake of a violent protest by the minority Madhesi community against the new constitution adopted in Nepal last year. Businessmen have heaved a sigh of relief. The agitation led to the loss of 200 billion rupees as production had stalled for several months. More than 50 people also died in the protests. Uncertainty continues to prevail in the Himalayan nation as Madhesis have announced fresh protests beginning April 27.
