Incredible, slow-motion footage of lightning striking a small plane over London during its approach to Heathrow Airport. <br /><br />The video, filmed on Wednesday in Fulham, shows the the aircraft getting struck by the lightning during a storm, with the bolt travelling through the plane's metal shell before shooting out of both sides. <br /><br />The filmer later wrote online: "There was heavy thunder where i live, and I thought that I ought to film the planes flying over my house just in case lightning hit a passing plane. <br /><br />"The 1st plane i filmed was hit; what are the chances of that happening?"
