Don't throw those cardboard spacers away, turn them into your personalised nameplate. Make 'em for your mates at the office, they'll be well chuffed! Go to jeztyr.com for tips.
Using some 90 degree packaging spacers, some cardboard cutoffs, stain, gloss and a bit of nouse, you can whip up a cool looking nameplate to spruce up your desk a few degrees.
All up, costs a few bucks in materials, a few hours of your time (mostly waiting for it to dry) and it looks a treat.
You'll need: Cardboard angle, a paintbrush, water based stain and gloss, water based primer, gold paint, black stick-on dots for rivets, water based gloss, and the usual craft knife, pencil and ruler.
Film, music, compilation and ideas by Jeremy Tyrrell.
