Brazilian President Dilma Rousseff confirmed her impeachment process has been suspended after an appeal was accepted.<br />She spoke after the acting speaker of Brazil’s lower house of Congress annulled the process noting procedural flaws.<br />Waldir Maranhao said the senate must return the process to the lower house for a new vote.<br />Rousseff, who faced action to remove her from office over claims she covered up a financial scandal, said she was unaware of the consequences of the suspension.
