Alpha Blondy de son vrai nom Seydou Koné, né à Dimbokro le 1er janvier 1953, est un chanteur de reggae ivoirien. <br /><br />Avec Youssou N'Dour, il est sans doute la star internationale la plus populaire de la musique afro/reggae depuis la mort de Bob Marley auquel on le compare souvent, notamment pour son charisme et son engagement. Il chante aussi bien en français, en dioula (langue vehiculaire de l'Afrique de l'Ouest), qu'en anglais.
