Dramatic footage has emerged from the US of huge hailstones pummeling cars in a town in Missouri. <br /><br />The video, filmed yesterday, shows the golf ball-sized stones smashing to the floor during a severe-warned thunderstorm, shattering three windscreens. <br /><br />The filmer later wrote online: "The golf ball to baseball-sized hail came down for about 15 minutes on our landscaping business lot in St. Charles, MO, just outside of St. Louis. <br /><br />"Our driver was stuck in his truck when it came down; three shattered windshields and counting."
