Stunning footage, filmed this month, of a geyser lake in the Altai Mountains, Russia, coloured turquoise because of thermal springs. <br /><br />The filmer later wrote online: "This attractive turquoise color is obtained through the thermal springs, which beat in the middle of the lake. <br /><br />"This force of the geyser eruptions raises beautiful blue sludge to the surface." <br /><br />"Due to this sand-clay mixture rising from the bottom, several circles of turquoise-blue color are formed on the surface," he continued. <br /><br />"The lake does not freeze even at temperatures below 0C."
