Bengaluru, May 13 (ANI): Amid thousands of runners who will hit Bengaluru roads for the TCS World 10K, quadruple amputee Shalini Saraswathi and her indomitable fighting spirit will be a toast of the event. 37-year-old Shalini lost her limbs after a painful battle with a rare bacterial infection. The condition left her with multiple-organ failure. She fought bravely and cheated death. By competing in the Open 10K category, Shalini wants to inspire differently abled to live in the present. Shalini thanked her family for encouraging her.
