Guntur, May 15 (ANI): At least seven people were killed after the collapse of a wall of an under construction mall, about 35 km from Vijayawada, in Guntur city of Andhra Pradesh. As many as 8 workers were reportedly trapped and while one was rescued, the other seven lost their lives. The accident happened when a 30-feet deep cellar was being dug for a proposed multi-storey building at the Lakshipuram area in Guntur. While the work was under process, a sudden landslip occurred, trapping the workers inside. The district collector and other officials rushed to the accident site. Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu also went to the site to oversee the rescue efforts.
