Interracial marriage drama prompts Oscar buzz at Cannes

US filmmaker Jeff Nichols said Monday hoped his rapturously-received Cannes contender "Loving" about an interracial couple's landmark marriage-rights case to help change the vicious tone of America's current culture wars.
