Footage of a major sand storm hitting northwest China.<br /><br />In the video, filmed in Kashgar, Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region on Monday, the thick wall of sand appears to swallow the whole city.<br /><br />According to local news, the wind speed was 33m/s and the visibility was less than ten metres.
