Bernie Sanders is still behind Hillary Clinton in the delegate count in the race for the White House and though he win in Oregon, not capturing Kentucky was a blow the Vermont senator could ill afford.<br />The confidence of supporters may be deflating as they attempt to unify the Democratic Party and halt front-runner Hillary Clinton's progress towards the party's nomination.<br />Despite walking away with a solid block of delegates, the outcome will have negligible impact on either candidate's path to the nomination, thanks to Democrats' proportional delegate allocation system.<br />But this doesn't mean Sanders has any intention of abandoning ship; Sanders' campaign still pledges to take their fight all the way the Democratic National Convention, and the chaos at the Nevada State Democratic Convention this weekend gave the party a taste of what could come.
