House Speaker Paul Ryan and Donald Trump have had their differences, but a recent sit-down with the real estate mogul had him feeling optimistic about their chances of unifying the Republican party.<br />However, Ryan isn't 100 percent onboard with Trump ahead of the Republican National Convention this July, telling Glenn Thrush on the "Off Message" podcast "of course I do (think Trump will win the presidency)."<br />But when responding to Thrush's next question as to whether he would bet on a Trump victory in November, Ryan said "I’m not going to — I’m not a betting man."<br />In fairness, Ryan would later tell Thrush that if the party can come together and offer the country a "clear and compelling agenda" than he thinks Trump stands a good chance of defeating the Democratic presumptive nominee, Hillary Clinton.
