Facebook responded in a press release to the growing reports of bias in its Trending Topics feature. It has been reported that Republican-based content had been left off of the feature, based upon testimony from ex-Trending Topics curators. "Our analysis indicated that the rates of approval of conservative and liberal topics are virtually identical in Trending Topics," said part of the press release.
