Afghan Taliban names Haibatullah Akhunzada as new leader

A scholar known to be one of the major decision makers for bombing attacks, is the Afghan Taliban's new leader.<br />The Afghan Taliban has appointed former deputy Moulavi Haibatullah Akhunzada to lead the group.
