Shocking footage of a huge swarm of locusts invading an agricultural region of Dagestan, Russia. <br /><br />The video, filmed this month, shows the Moroccon Locusts blackening the sky as the filmer's car passes beneath them. <br /><br />The region is used to locust swarms, but it's particularly bad this year. According to the filmer, they "appeared at the end of April, a month earlier than usual."<br /><br />He added: "The reason for this - a dry and mild winter this year and the cyclical development of the locust, which reaches a peak every eight-ten years."
