Shocking footage has emerged from Providencia, Chile, of police clashing with student protesters during a demonstration against the education policies of the current Government. <br /><br />The video, filmed this week, shows heavily armoured police officers dispersing the crowd with a massive water cannon, before the filmer takes cover in a Starbucks cafe. <br /><br />The filmer wrote online: ''I had to go into a Starbucks to escape the gas.<br /><br />''Students demanding a say and faster improvements to the education system have begun to take to the streets almost weekly." <br /><br />"The Carabineros counter these unsanctioned occurrences with tear gas and water canons," he continued.
