The International Olympic Committee announced biological samples from 23 athletes who competed at the London Games in 2012 had tested positive for using performance-enhancing drugs.<br />The announcement marks the second time this month that the IOC announced that a significant number of its competitors in a previous Games had tested positive.<br />Dozens of competitors in the Beijing Games, including some who were planning to compete in Rio, were among those who were caught.<br />The IOC has yet to announce the names of those who tested positive.<br />The Russia Olympic Committee announced earlier this week that 14 of its athletes from Beijing, including several medal winners, were among those who tested positive.
