Let it be known: Hillary Clinton does not need to win the California primary.<br />All she needs is a portion of delegates -- 73 to be exact -- in order to hold a majority and clinch the Democratic presidential nomination.<br />However, main rival Bernie Sanders is still standing tough, taking three of the last five primary contests.<br />Losing an enormously diverse state like California would be an ugly stain in the lead-up to the party's convention on June 7.<br />Despite he significant lead over the Vermont Senator, Clinton has seen Sanders pick up 20 wins, compared to her 26.<br />According to the LA Times, the former Secretary of State was pegged to in California by around eight percentage points, making talk of a potential slip-up all the more deafening.
