Welcome to Xiao's Kitchen <br />Recipe for: Tofu & Chilli - Chinese Style <br /> <br />This is a dish you will love if you can handle the heat. Use water instead of chicken stock if you want a vegetarian dish. <br /> <br />Ingredients: <br />400g Tofu <br />2 Spring Onions <br />0.5cm Ginger <br />2 Cloves Garlic <br />150g Garlic Chilli Sauce <br />Small Bunch Coriander <br />1 Tbsp Sugar <br />150ml Chicken Stock (or water) <br /> <br /> <br />Methods: <br />1. Finely chop the garlic, ginger, spring onions and coriander. <br />2. Cut tofu into about 1cm cubes. <br />3. Heat 2 Tbsp oil in the wok until smoking hot. <br />4. Add garlic, ginger and garlic chilli sauce then stir fry for a minute. <br />5. Add the tofu and fry for half of a minute. <br />6. Add the chicken stock ( or water) and bring to the boil. <br />7. Cook for 5 minutes, stir occasionally. <br />8. Add sugar, salt, spring onions and coriander. <br />9. Transfer onto a dish and serve with rice. <br /> <br />Thank you for watching.
