With the call of a whistle, art is elevated into new heights in New York city, as 2,000 pigeons tagged with tiny LED lights ascend into the night sky. The public art project called "Fly by Night" is the brainchild of artist Duke Riley who wants to pay homage to the birds that are a common sight in the city. "Fly by Night" is presented by the non-profit organization Creative Time, and will be repeated each weekend through June 12.

------------------------------------------

Subscribe to our channel: http://read.ht/fLZ

Follow us on Twitter: https://twitter.com/htTweets

Like us on Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/hindustantimes

Watch more videos at: http://www.hindustantimes.com/video

hindustantimes.com © 2015
