Scientists and researchers from Antarctica New Zealand, a New Zealand government agency, are conducting environmental and scientific tests to assess changes to the local environment. They also have to prepare for a life without the sun as the region will not see the natural light again for four months. Anthony Powell, a New Zealand filmmaker, is giving insights on this grave challenge.
