Deadline has reported that Jennifer Lawrence is set to star as Elizabeth Holmes in a new drama inspired by the real-life story of the blood-testing company Theranos.<br />The film will be directed by Adam McKay, the man behind last year’s Oscar-winning drama about the financial crisis, The Big Short.<br />Founded in 2003 by Holmes, Theranos claimed to have revolutionized blood testing by being able to use only a pinprick of blood rather than traditional methods of drawing blood by injection.<br />However, the company is currently under criminal investigation over claims of inaccurate test results and Forbes recently revised Holmes' net worth from $4.5 billion to zero.
