A CCTV video emerged of a man disguised as an elevator repairman to allegedly steal a woman's phone.<br /><br />The footage, shot earlier this month in Xuzhou, Jiangsu Province, shows a man dressed as a maintenance worker opening an elevator in which a woman is trapped.<br /><br />According to local news, the man told her he was there to repair the elevator and asked her to lend him her phone to call the property management.<br /><br />Reportedly, the doors closed again after she gave him the phone, and he had to open the doors again to rescue her.<br /><br />When she asked her phone back, reports say the man told her he dropped it into the elevator shaft and ran away.<br /><br />The thief was arrested.
