Xiao's Kitchen - Welcomes you to our cooking channel. <br />Recipe for: Chinese Stir Fry Chilli Squid <br /> <br />Ingredients: <br />300g Squid <br />3 Dried Red Chillies <br />1 Green Pepper <br />0.5cm Ginger <br />2 Spring Onions <br />1 Clove Garlic <br />1 Tbsp Cooking Wine <br />1 Tbsp Light Soy Sauce <br />2 Tbsp Peanut Oil <br />Salt to Taste <br /> <br />Method: <br /> 1. Roughly chop the spring onions, chillies and garlic. <br /> 2. Cut the ginger into thin threads. <br /> 3. Cut the green pepper into bite size piece. <br /> 4. Place squid flat, make fine cross cut on the surface of each squid – Be careful not to cut all the way through <br /> 5. Boil 1 litre of water in a pan <br /> 6. Place squid into the pan and blanch for a minute. Remove and drain. <br /> 7. Heat peanut oil in the wok. Add ginger, garlic, chilli, green pepper and fry for a minute. <br /> 8. Add the squid and stir fry for another minute. <br /> 9. Add cooking wine, soy sauce and spring onion. Fry for few seconds.
