My guest today is Richard Wainscoat, PhD, an astronomer at the University of Hawaii and also a photographer. He was on the committee that "de-commissioned" Pluto from being a bonafide planet (and tells us why) and is also working with the International Association of Dark Skies and the City and County of Honolulu to reduce light pollution.
