Amazing footage has emerged from Sri Lanka appearing to show a little girl stopping a wild elephant in its tracks and forcing it to retreat. <br /><br />The video, filmed earlier this month, shows the girl standing her ground with her arm outstretched as the elephant marches towards her on a road. <br /><br />Astonishingly, despite the elephant's massive size, it seems intimidated by the confident little girl and, in the end, turns around and runs away into the bushes.
