Footage has emerged of a power substation on fire in northwestern China.<br /><br />The video, filmed in Xi'an, Shaanxi Province last Saturday, shows bright flames illuminating the dark night, while thick smoke rises into the air.<br /><br />The major fire was reportedly caused by equipment failure in the substation.<br /><br />The fire has now been extinguished and power has been restored to most of the surrounding area. <br /><br />Fortunately, no one was injured.
