Here is the proof that ham operators are liars and hypocrites. I got this radio from the local ham sale, put a new battery on it and read it out and found ham frequencies of course, no surprise there..<br />But the REAL surprise was the old county sheriff and city police and a business band "DOT" frequency all in the same radio with TX enabled. Last programming dated @ 05-10-2012.<br />The county and city have been on 800MHz for over 20 years here.<br />So I think I will be contacting the FCC and reporting this because I am sick of these asshats thinking they are untouchable, they go around youtube and wave the finger at people like they are high and mighty and then get on our analog community repeaters like its perfectly ok.. enough is enough, I WILL be the cause of some hams getting fines and losing their licenses around here.<br />Don't like it? Tough titty.
