Hindustan Power Projects, Chairman, Ratul Puri feels the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy were very aggressive in reducing tariff rates for solar projects. Puri feels a ten percent correction in solar tariff in necessary for the viability of most projects. <br /> <br />While speaking of Hydro Project, the Hindustan Power Chairman feels hydro energy can play a balancing roll for the solar and wind capacity being installed. He added that grind instability in renewable sources of energy is an area of concern but is not unmanageable.
