The New York Knicks have emerged as the strong favorite to sign free-agent big man Joakim Noah, according to league sources.<br />Noah has been one of the NBA's better defending big men, with the ability to guard perimeter players in screen switches.<br />In 2013-14, Noah won the Defensive Player of the Year award while averaging 12.6 points, 11.3 rebounds and 5.4 assists.
