An awesome video has emerged of a science teacher creating a mesmerising 'wiggly water wave' effect.<br /><br />The footage, shot on Thursday in Gosford, Australia, shows Jacob Strickling placing a strobe light next to the flow of water and synchronising it with a machine that shakes the hose at the same speed. <br /><br />When he turns the light off, the water seems to follow a wave pattern. <br /><br />He wrote online: "I now use the demonstration to illustrate the wave equation velocity = frequency times wavelength with my Physics classes."<br /><br />"If the strobe frequency is adjusted higher or lower the water will appear to travel up or down".
